the power of three.. all things happen in three's, good or bad.. how true this statement is..

within a couple of days, hollywood has lost 3 of its greatest icons.. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson...

Ed McMahon died shortly after midnight on 23rd june 2009..

"Heeeeeeeeere's Johnny!" was his way of introducing partner, Johnny Carson.. and it was this memorable introduction that stay with everybody through the years.. co-hosting the Tonight show with Johnny Carson, the flawless partnership between both men leaves audience gasping for more.. and this gentleman too, gave the phrase, 'second banana', a whole new meaning.. this king of sidekicks had a booming voice and barking laughter that always capture the attention of many.. he never failed to laugh at Johnny Carson's quips and kept his supportive role in perspective.. the contrast between both men was a perfect formula in comedy.. both gentlemen would be missed by audience, young and old..

on the 25th june.. within hours of each other, the death of both Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson..

Farrah Fawcett, one of the first charlie's angels.. her beautiful smile and heartwarming attitude capitivate the hearts' of all from the very moment she appear on screen.. she was America's golden girl.. underneath all was an extremely brave and strong person whom we all got a glimpse at when the documentary of her battle with cancer was shown on tv.. she helps put a face on anal cancer, a form uncommon among many.. her fight with the disease was long and hard.. and that determination to keep fighting brings a strong message to many people.. to just keep fighting no matter what people say.. her death broke many hearts.. this queen of hearts will definitely be missed for years to come..

hahaha.. in my view, that is to make lemonade with the lemons life gives you, and regardless of how sour they are, just add more sugar in it to make it sweeter.. u and ur outlook on things is all that matters.. to hell with the rest of them.. (no puns intended..)

when Micheal Jackson dies suddenly at his L.A home, it marked a sudden end to a career unprecedented by highs and often unfathomable weirdness of this brilliant yet eccentric musician.. he started out as one of the Jacksons 5, a group formed with his brothers.. when he left and pursued a solo career with Quincy Jones behind him, what they achieved was beyond everybody's imagination.. he has become one of the world's greatest and much admired person then.. and with the release of his album, Thriller, his effect on everyone was a force to be reckon.. TIME had described Jackson as "a one-man rescue team for the music business. A songwriter who sets the beat for a decade. A dancer with the fanciest feet on the street. A singer who cuts across all boundaries of taste and style and color too." to Jacko.. the king of pop & rock..

although only three icons' deaths were mentioned here, we should not forget the deaths of others too.. for all of them are icons in their own ways..
